BDL, primary chain drive kit. With complete engine sprocket

This chain drive kit is equipped with the patented BDL compensating motor sprocket to reduce vibration. The effect is similar to the factory compensating sprocket system used on Big Twin models since 1970. This chain drive kit includes everything you need. The kit consists of a primary chain, primary chain adjuster, motor sprocket and a complete rear clutch basket/sprocket assembly. The clutch basket includes a starter ring gear for electric start options and contains the BDL Competitor clutch for precise, drag-free clutch changes. This chain drive kit fits inside the original primary housing.
Note: For correct engine sprocket / clutch sprocket alignment, it is generally necessary to use an alternator rotor with loose spacers. Some models may be fitted with an alternator rotor with a welded spacer, which can cause excessive offset.
