Aluminium oil pumps for Big Twin 1936-1999 by Zodiac - Evolution from 1992 to 1999

The Zodiac oil pumps for Big Twin from 1981 onwards offer great quality for little money. They are made from aluminium casting and then very precisely machined. They have a different look thanks to a mirror polish. The Zodiac pumps route the excess oil back to the tank instead of the return to prevent excess filtering, and offer the possibility to install the lubrication system from 1981 onwards on earlier engines. This system splits the feed to the top and bottom, increasing pressure in the hydraulic lifters and the top end. Another simple, optional modification will improve primary chain lubrication on models from 1965 to 1972. The pump body is compatible with the original oil pipes and with neoprene sleeves, to ensure a professional, tidy appearance. The pumps come with all internal components installed, gaskets, keys, circlip, mounting material, and the check and pressure regulating valves.
 
 Note: For maximum flexibility, the Zodiac oil pumps offer an optional site for the connector on late-model Dyna and FL models, and other models with the oil tank below the transmission should use the original shape. Otherwise, under certain conditions, air could enter the pump and interfere with lubrication. There is no device for lubricating the rear chain. The pump for Big Twin from 1936 to 1976 is equipped with an adjusting screw for controlling primary chain lubrication.
