Akrapovic uses performance-oriented catalytic converters that maintain the usual sound and performance improvements of their exhaust systems.
The catalytic converter is a honeycomb metal structure incorporating precious metals (palladium, rhodium and platinum) on its surface.
These metals convert carbon monoxide and unburnt hydrocarbons in the exhaust gases into non-toxic carbon dioxide and water vapour.
