HEAT INSULATING TAPE FOR EXHAUSTS - Snap-Strap, kit of 8 pieces and 20 clips

The original exhaust insulating tape was developed by Thermo-Tec in 1986. It is an innovative way to create more power, as wrapping the headers means hotter gases exit faster due to their lower density. This produces better scavenging and lower intake temperatures. Thermo-Tec's insulating tape withstands continuous temperatures of 2000°F and contains no asbestos. Nor will it overheat when properly installed, thanks to a special coating, Thermal-Conduction-Technology (TCT), developed by Thermo-Tec, which conducts temperature through the tape. This coating literally controls the transfer of temperature. The insulating tape is sold in 50-foot rolls (over 15 metres), 2" wide and 1/16" thick. To make installation easier and for a better finish, you can use Snap-Strap, a low-profile stainless steel strap. Easy to cut to the required length and to secure with the fasteners. Snap-Strap is sold in kits containing 8 pieces of 9" and 20 clips.
