.040" MLS (Multi Layer Steel). 4.016" diameter.
MLS (Multi Layer Steel) consists of a top and bottom layer of stamped stainless steel, with both sides coated with a 250°C resistant polymer rubber layer. The inner ring(s) are also stainless steel. The gasket layers are riveted together, outside the gasket surface, for easier installation. The outer layers are stamped and both sides coated with a 250°C resistant polymer rubber layer. MLS cylinder head gaskets eliminate the use of any alignment pin O-ring.
