MLS (Multi Layer Steel) explanation: MLS consists of a top and bottom layer of stamped stainless steel, with both faces coated with a rubber polymer layer resistant to 250°C. The inner ring is also made of stainless steel. The gasket layers are riveted together, outside the gasket surface, for easier installation. The outer layers are stamped and both faces coated with a rubber polymer layer resistant to 250°C. MLS cylinder head gaskets eliminate the use of alignment pins or O-rings.
