MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) .030" thick. Consists of a top and bottom layer of stamped stainless steel with both sides coated with a layer of polymer rubber resistant to 250°C. The inner ring is also stainless steel. The gasket layers are riveted together, outside of the gasket surface, for easier installation. The outer layers are stamped and both sides coated with a layer of polymer rubber resistant to 250°C. MLS cylinder head gaskets eliminate the use of alignment pin O-rings.
