Cometic AFM gaskets feature an aluminium core with a thin, chemically generated, foam-type composite synthetic nitrile rubber layer bonded to both sides. Resistant to temperatures above 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber offers 85% recovery whilst maintaining strong torque retention. No retorquing, gasket sealants or silicone beads required.
