Cometic AFM (Aluminium Foamet Material) gaskets are made with an aluminium core and a thin chemically compounded foam-type nitrile synthetic rubber layer, bonded to both sides. Resistance to temperatures above 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has 85% recovery whilst maintaining strong torque retention. No re-torquing, gasket sealants or silicone beads required.
