Cometic AFM gaskets have an aluminium core with a thin layer of chemically compounded nitrile foam-type synthetic rubber bonded to both sides. Resistant to temperatures above 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. No re-torque, gasket sealants or silicone beads required.
