For electric start models only. Same as 538404, but with slower advance curves for high-compression engines experiencing detonation problems. Full advance is reached at a higher RPM. Includes single/double fire ignition and/or single/double spark plug selection. Selectable advance and rev limiter. With 8 advance curves and 8 RPM limits, from 6000 to 7500 RPM, it can be adjusted to suit your specific engine. Easy selection via a rotary switch on the ignition unit. All modules include a built-in static timing light and feature extended temperature and low-voltage operation, plus soft-start circuitry for easy starting.
Note: A tachometer adaptor (MCS 538408) is required to correct the tachometer output when using single-fire ignition, for a correct RPM display.
