These crankshaft assemblies for Big Twin Evolution are a direct replacement for 1984-1989 models and also work on 1990-1999 models when installed together with the shaft pinion gear parts listed below. Contrary to the OEM crankshaft on 1990-1999 models, these crankshafts feature a separate pinion shaft and sprocket shaft, making a rebuild possible. Another great advantage is that the pinion shafts of 1984-1984-1989 models have proven to be much stronger than the OEM design used on 1990-1999 models. The crankshafts are ready to install and balanced by S&S for use with stock pistons. Perfect for building a new engine and for rebuilds.
