Hell Foundry’s DashLink integrates a complete docking station for iPhone and iPod Touch into a custom-fit fuel tank console for your Harley. Unlike conventional handlebar-mounted units, the DashLink conceals all electronics and provides a permanent installation, eliminating messy cable connections on the handlebars. The DashLink keeps your iPhone or iPod Touch fully charged, allowing you to utilise your device’s best features at all times. For example, your navigation app can run with the screen on while music plays. Using high-fidelity Bluetooth headphones or Wi-Fi-enabled devices, it can be used as a primary unit for audio streaming services such as Sirius/XM or Rhapsody. Whatever you can imagine your iPhone doing to enhance your riding experience is likely available as a core function or via an app. The docking location offers unprecedented convenience for an iPhone mount. Designed for use with iPhone 4/4s, iPhone 3G/3GS, iPhone, and iPod Touch generations 2 to 4. It can also be used with iPhone 5 and iPod Touch 5 with the Apple 30-pin to Lightning adapter. Features include a smart charging system with auto-detect on/off circuitry to detect when a device is present, audio output circuitry using line-level output, a clean “wire-free” appearance as wiring routes run beneath the console, and integrated liquid drainage routes away from the device and connector. Volume up/down control is maintained via the original handlebar controls on FLHT/FLT models. A splash cap for the connector is included to protect the dock during washing or rain, or when the iDevice is not present. Installation is quick and straightforward, taking 15–30 minutes on most models.
