Floatech® Road, the new brake disc bringing MotoGP™ technologies to the road for the first time. After years of development and success in Moto2™ and Moto3™.
Floatech® Road was born in the world of competition and quickly established itself as a winning technology.
Compared with the Racing version of the Floatech® disc, the Road version incorporates a patented pin-and-washer fixing system, developed in 2022 in international competition, which significantly reduces noise and vibration, improves braking feel and extends the life of the system. This solution allows the disc to 'float' in a controlled manner, aligning perfectly with the brake pad.
Floatech® Road is designed to deliver superior thermal performance and consistent results, even during intense and repeated braking.
Excellent thermal resistance: ensures the disc retains its float regardless of temperature, guaranteeing maximum performance even in extreme conditions. The track design optimises heat dissipation and improves braking power. Its innovative structure ensures a perfect fit between track and carrier, guaranteeing maximum efficiency and stability under every braking event.
Redefined buoyancy: innovative track-hub joint design with patented system allowing greater buoyancy, freer wheel rotation and improved brake system response. Furthermore, it minimises core wear, ensuring long-term stability and durability without increasing play.
