The DNA filtering medium is composed of 4 layers of oil-impregnated 'naphta' surgical-grade cotton gauze, specially developed by DNA's in-house R&D team. The cotton gauze is placed between 2 layers of epoxy-coated marine-grade aluminium wire mesh, before being robotically pleated to DNA's exclusive 'large pleat edge radius' patterns. The result is an extremely high-flow filter (98-99% filtration efficiency, ISO 5011) that exceeds the current needs of any motorcycle. It offers greater potential performance, efficiency and rideability, combined with long-lasting durability.
