Dynatek, Dyna Dual Tower dual ignition. 6V, 1.5 ohm

Orange/brown. Designed for 12 volt custom applications where 2 of these coils are used for motorcycles with dual plug heads (4 spark plugs in total) running on a dual fire electronic ignition system.
Note: The coils are 6V, 1.5 ohms each and must be wired in series to achieve the required 12V voltage and 3 ohm primary resistance.
Note: It is recommended to use ignition modules and coils from the same manufacturer. Mixing different brands may cause premature failure.
Note: Difference between Single Fire and Dual Fire:
- Double Fire - This is how pre-Twin Cam engines work. A single coil is used and both spark plugs fire simultaneously. This is the simplest system. The 'wasted' spark is sometimes said to reduce power.
- Single Fire - This is how 00-up stock Twin Cam engines operate. Two separate coils will fire the spark plugs independently and only the spark plug of the cylinder on the compression stroke will fire. These engines are said to vibrate less and may improve power. The effects will become more pronounced with more aggressive camshafts and higher RPM.
