Dynojet, air filter signal eliminator connector

Air filter plug only. Required when fitting a custom exhaust system in combination with a high-flow or other custom air filter kit. The exhaust plug (981567) is used to cap off the original wiring going to the mechanical actuator valve in the original exhaust header, thus preventing the standard ECU from triggering error codes. For the air filter, the other plug (981570) is used to cap off the original wiring that connects to the sealed intake valve actuator (OEM 70991-07) located in the original air filter housing of recent H-D models. Likewise, this also prevents the standard ECU from triggering error codes. For use on H-D models equipped with a mechanical actuator valve inside the exhaust only.
