You can run six or nine springs and bolts depending on your pressure plate adjustment needs. Fewer springs give less pressure on the clutch pack and less force at the clutch lever. Run all nine springs to maximise clutch pack pressure and clutch lever effort. The included large double-row hub bearing provides maximum performance and durability and secures the clutch basket and clutch hub together for that "no float" basket, giving you smoother clutch operation and positive clutch engagement. The polished aluminium pressure plate tops off that custom look for open belt drive installations. The race-proven aramid fibre clutch plates make the Competitor Clutch a must-have for your earlier American V-Twin. Works with the original chain drive and most belt drives.
