Exhaust insulating wrap. 1" wide black

Fibreglass exhaust wrap sold in 15 metre (50 foot) rolls, 1.5 mm thick. Withstands continuous temperatures of up to 1200 °F (649 °C) and spikes of up to 2000 °F (1093 °C). Exhaust gases lose velocity as they cool, reducing the scavenging effect. This insulating wrap helps keep gas temperatures high, optimising the thermal efficiency of the exhaust system, making the most of the engine's power. The wrap also protects against exhaust burns and eliminates bluish discolouration of the exhaust.
Note: The ends of the wrap are secured with metal ties. These are sold separately.
Note: The material will discolour under the influence of heat after installation.
