Exhaust insulating wrap. 1" wide light brown

Fibreglass exhaust wrap sold in 50-foot (15-metre) rolls with 1.5 mm thick material. Withstands continuous temperatures of up to 1200 °F (649 °C), with 2000 °F (1093 °C) peak resistance. Exhaust gases lose velocity as they cool, reducing the scavenging effect. This insulating wrap helps keep exhaust gas temperatures high, optimising the thermal efficiency of the exhaust system, allowing the engine's power to be used to the full. The wrap also protects against exhaust burns and eliminates blue discolouration of the exhaust.
Note: The ends of the wrap are secured with metal clips. Sold separately.
Note: The material will discolour under the influence of heat after installation.
