White 2" wide exhaust wrap

Fibreglass exhaust wrap sold in 50 foot (15 metre) rolls, with 1.5 mm thick material. Withstands continuous temperatures of up to 1200 °F (649 °C) and spikes of up to 2000 °F (1093 °C). Cooled exhaust gases lose velocity and the scavenging effect is reduced. This insulating wrap helps keep gas temperatures high, thereby optimising the thermal efficiency of the exhaust system, allowing you to make the most of the engine's power. The wrap also protects against exhaust burns and prevents the bluing of the exhaust from showing.
Note: The wrap ends are secured with metal cable ties. Sold separately.
Note: For 30 cm of exhaust pipe, approximately 38" / 97 cm (for 1 3/4" pipe) and 44" / 112 cm (for 2" pipe) of exhaust wrap is required. Based on a 2" wide wrap with an overlap of approximately 1/4".
Note: The material will discolour under the influence of heat after installation.
