Using Feuling/ARP rocker studs and nuts helps relieve stress on M8 cylinder heads. Factory and SE heads exhibit a weak point in the rocker shaft spacers. By using studs, some of the stress is transferred from the spacer casting to the stud. The use of high-lift camshafts and valve springs generates additional stress on the cylinder head, so the use of this stud kit is recommended to help prevent cylinder head cracking.
