Compatible with 51 and 55 mm throttle bodies, OEM Keihin CV carburettors, Mikuni HSR42 and 45 mm.
From the factory, this Feuling air filter is configured with OEM-style breather heads, venting air into the intake with optimised vent hole locations to comply with emissions regulations. Race-only external venting to the atmosphere is available with the separate purchase of the Feuling 707101 external breather kit, which includes fittings, breather hose and filter element. The back plate is engraved with the 'Made in USA' and 'Feuling' logos.
A great deal of meticulous testing and tuning went into the design of this direct-mount BA (Billet Aluminium) air filter, to achieve excellent performance (+500 to 595 CFM@28 on a SuperFlow SF600), all combined with the smallest possible dimensions. One-piece full forged aluminium cage; the included velocity duct is inserted, followed by the air filter element, and finally the cover is fitted. This simple construction offers a very clean look and easy installation compared with many others. The velocity duct is used to lengthen the intake tract and increase inlet velocity to improve cylinder charging, especially in the mid-range, where most riding is done, and upward. Comes with a reusable, high-flow, pre-oiled red cotton air filter element.
Note: The optional covers are available in natural polished, hard anodised black and chrome finishes, with a solid or transparent (see-through) acrylic outer cover.
