From the factory, this Feuling air filter is configured with OEM-style head breather set-up, channelling into the intake with optimised vent hole locations to comply with emissions regulations. Track-only external venting to the atmosphere available with the separate purchase of the Feuling 707101 external breather kit, which includes fittings, vent line and breather element. The back plate is etched with the 'Made in USA' and 'Feuling' logos.
A great deal of testing and meticulous tuning went into the design of the direct-mount BA (machined aluminium air filter), to create excellent performance (+500 to 595 CFM@28 on a SuperFlow SF600), all combined with the smallest possible dimensions. One-piece full machined aluminium cage; the included velocity stack is inserted, followed by the air filter element, after which the cover is fitted. This simple construction offers a very clean look and easy installation compared to many others. The velocity stack is used to lengthen the intake path and increase intake velocity to improve cylinder charging, especially mid-range performance, where most riding is done, and upward. Comes with a reusable high-flow red cotton, pre-oiled air filter element.
Note: The optional covers are available in raw polished, hard anodised black and chrome finishes, in a solid or clear (see-through) acrylic outer cover.
