Compatible with 51 and 55 mm throttle bodies, OEM Keihin CV and 42 and 45 mm Mikuni HSR carburettors.
From the factory, this Feuling air filter is configured with OEM-style head breathing, channelling air into the intake with optimised vent hole locations to comply with emissions regulations. External track-only venting to the atmosphere is available with the separate purchase of the Feuling 707101 external breather kit, which includes fittings, vent line and filter element. The backplate is engraved with the 'Made in USA' and 'Feuling' logos.
A great deal of meticulous testing and tuning went into the direct-mount BA (Billet Aluminum) air filter design, to achieve excellent performance (+500 to 595 CFM@28 on a SuperFlow SF600), all combined with the smallest possible dimensions. One-piece full forged aluminium cage; the included intake cone is inserted, followed by the air filter element, and finally the cover is fitted. This simple construction offers a very clean look and easy installation compared to many others. The intake cone is used to lengthen the intake tract and increase intake velocity to improve cylinder charging, especially in the mid-range, where most riding is done, and upwards. Includes a reusable, high-flow, red cotton air filter element.
Note: The optional covers are available in unpolished raw aluminium, hard anodised black and chrome plated, with a solid or transparent clear (see-through) acrylic outer cover.
