Feuling, BA air filter kit. Chrome. Solid cover

From the factory, this Feuling air filter is configured with OEM-style head breathing, channelling into the intake with optimised vent hole locations to meet emissions regulations. Race Only external venting to the atmosphere available with the separate purchase of the Feuling 707101 external breather kit, which includes 1/2-13 breather screw fittings, vent line and breather element. Compatible with Mikuni HSR42/45 with adaptor plate. Not compatible with Keihin butterfly or S&S carburettors. The back plate is engraved with the 'Made in USA' and 'Feuling' logos.
Note: For 84-92 Evo B.T. models with the stock crankcase breather, the Feuling 5100 5/16-18 breather bolt kit must be purchased.
Much meticulous testing and tuning went into the design of the direct-mount BA (forged aluminium air filter), to create excellent performance (+500 to 595 CFM@28 on a SuperFlow SF600), all paired with the smallest possible dimensions. One-piece full forged aluminium cage, the included speed stack is inserted, followed by the air filter element, after which the cover is fitted. This simple construction offers a very clean look and easy installation compared to many others. The speed stack is used to lengthen the intake tract and increase intake velocity to improve cylinder charging, especially mid-range performance, where most riding is done, and upwards. Comes with a reusable high-flow red pre-oiled cotton air filter element.
Note: The optional covers are available in unanodized polished aluminium, hard anodized black and chrome, with a solid or clear (see-through) acrylic outer cover.
