Increases the relief pressure of the camplate. The Feuling spring has the correct spring rate to control the opening pressure and oil flow in the bypass port. Bench testing with the Feuling camplate pressure testing tool (566117 for Twin Cam only) is recommended to adjust the opening pressure to your preference.
