Used as an optional or replacement insert.
Fits easily into the Halder hammer head casing, allowing fine adjustment of your mallet, with single-component or even dual-component insert materials in one mallet for optimum versatility.
The insert is made from TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomers), which offers excellent stiffness and abrasion resistance.
Hardness 2 on a scale of 5. Medium hardness, no marking.
