Hastings 114" M8 chrome piston ring set. STD

Standard cylinder diameter: 4.016" (102mm).
1st ring: 1.2mm.
2nd ring: 1.2mm.
Oil seal: 2.0mm.
Original replacement for 114" models. Includes a chrome top ring, a 2nd ductile iron Napier ring and a flexible 3-piece oil ring with vented chrome.
Technical tip: Piston grooves vs. piston rings.
It is not difficult to determine whether a Hastings piston ring set will fit a particular piston. You must measure the piston groove height on the piston itself. The top 2 grooves will be for the compression rings, the bottom groove will be for the oil ring. In most cases, Hastings oil rings are the low-tension 3-piece flexible type. Ring heights are listed for reference.
Technical tip: Piston oversizes.
For each oversize, the cylinder bore increases by .010" (0.254mm). The standard cylinder bore is stated for reference.
