Analogue chain wear measuring tool

The wear limit of modern O-ring chains is 0.6%. Chain manufacturers, professional workshops and racing teams use digital measuring devices to determine whether a chain is worn. For private use there is an analogue alternative. Sealed ring chains (O-, X-, Z-, Quad-Ring) wear faster due to extremely adhesive chain sprays. When you have to re-tension your chain within the first 15,000 km, you need this device to document the damage caused by your "greasy" chain spray.
