How to use your Belt Monkey:
Step 1: Consult your motorcycle manufacturer's manual to determine the required displacement with 10 lb of pressure.
Step 2: Align the bottom of the curved edge with the required adjustment line and tighten the lock nuts until they touch the orange base. Secure the nuts to each other using two spanners to set up your Belt Monkey.
Step 3: Loosen the rear wheel nut and slightly slacken the belt. Engage the tool onto the belt and tighten until the lock nuts touch the orange base. Ensure the motorcycle is in neutral.
Step 4: Adjust the swingarm adjusters evenly until the belt is taut. Ensure the wheel is aligned and tighten the rear wheel nut.
Step 5: Remove the tool from the belt. The required tension is already set.
