Zodiac Mid Glide front forks by Maselli - 33 3/4"

Italian suspension specialists Maselli developed the ultimate front suspension for American V-Twin motorcycles and produce them exclusively for Zodiac. Improved handling and damping characteristics are the benefits of these precision-made units, which feature chrome-molybdenum fork tubes and machined aluminium alloy sliders, hard-anodised damper rods and clear or black-anodised upper tubes and wheel axle clamps. The triple trees are machined from a billet of aluminium with a bright polished finish, and finally the forks feature integrated caliper mounts on the left-hand side, suitable for use with Harley-style calipers from 2000 (except radial types), designed for use with 11 1/2" (292mm) discs.

The version with a completely new design and style of our inverted forks features:
● 54mm smoothed aluminium upper tubes
● 43mm chrome-molybdenum air chambers with hard chrome or black DLC coating
● Brand new developed damping units
● 5 1/2" (140mm) stroke
● Individual fork spring preload adjustment
● 25mm wheel axle, concealed mounting
 
Assembly
These forks can be custom-fitted to the following chassis:
● all 4-speed Big Twins
● FXR
● Evolution Softail
● Twin Cam Softail
● Evolution Dyna
● Twin Cam Dyna 2000-2005
● all Sportsters prior to 2004
 
Fork oil change:
For street use: SAE 10 light oil. For extremely heavy bikes, extreme or track use: SAE 12.5 or 15.
 
Drain the forks completely and remove the fork springs. Clamp the fork tube exactly upright in a vice, one at a time. Compress the fork fully. Remove all air from the fork by slowly moving the outer tube and damper rod up and down 10 to 20 times. Fill the compressed forks with fork oil to 100mm below the edge, decompress the forks and install the springs and fork top nuts.
 
Notes: Handlebar damper rubber and bushes must be shortened for correct fitment
