The iDuctor W1200 is a portable induction heating tool with 1200W capacity. It is used to heat ferrous metals and remove bolts/nuts that are seized, rusted or difficult to loosen. Using heat to remove stubborn bolts and nuts has been done for years and this tool works exactly like an open flame, but faster, better and with far greater precision. The heat from an open flame can be a fire hazard and can additionally damage materials further away (think plastics, wiring harnesses, brake lines, fuel lines, rubber, etc.), especially in relatively confined spaces. Induction heating heats only what needs to be heated, nothing else, keeping the heat concentrated exactly where it is needed. It is also perfect for heating bearings and/or rings that have a press fit.
This kit includes a sturdy carrying case with the iDuctor. Included are the 110cm Flexible Coil, a flexible heating coil with aramid fibre protective sleeve. A 3-metre power cable. The 'U-Coil', a heating coil that can be bent into any desired shape. M8 heating coil and M10 heating coil, both with a 3.5 cable winding.
Note: Never heat the material until it glows 'red'. It is unnecessary and may cause damage to the component and the heating coil. These images are shown for illustrative purposes only.
