LED tachometer indicator, 2 RPM

If you want your bike to look immaculate, a bulky rev counter is usually not an option. Yet sometimes you want to know whether you are riding in the right rev range. In most cases, a 3-colour LED is sufficient. The RPM 2 LED module measures speed from the ignition output and switches a 3-colour LED between blue, green, yellow and red depending on speed. This allows you, for example, to visually monitor the start and end of peak torque, or the maximum speed that must not be exceeded. The three switching points are easily configurable by the user. To do this, connect the grey wire to earth and switch on the module. When you disconnect the green wire, the module flashes blue and increases the speed in 500 RPM increments. On reaching the first switching value, briefly connect the wire to earth. The LED flashes green and the module increases by 500 RPM with each flash. As soon as the wire is reconnected to earth, the module flashes yellow and continues counting the revs. On touching the grey wire again, the LED briefly flashes red and saves the values. The grey wire can be insulated and the RPM 2 LED is ready to use.
