It is a closed-loop wideband system, meaning it automatically adjusts air/fuel ratios every time you ride, regardless of changes to the motorcycle or ambient conditions such as temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, or fuel quality. Once installed, the ThunderMax with AutoTune automatically and precisely adjusts the base map to your conditions and riding habits every time you ride. Note: ThunderMax installation requires an exhaust with 18mm sensor ports, such as those used on 2007-2009 models, or modification of the standard exhausts to accept 18mm O2 sensors.
