Must be used with adjustable pushrod lifters. The Jims 'Hydrosolid' lifters have overcome the limitations of all previous hydraulic lifter designs and are the best lifters offered by Jims. This lifter works as a hydraulic up to approximately 5500 RPM, then behaves as a solid until the rev limiter takes over. By becoming solid, the Jims Hydrosolid adds between 3 and 6 horsepower. Even when the lifter rollers start to rise on the back of the cam, you can be sure the Jims Hydrosolid will never pump up.
Note: Must be used with adjustable tappets.
