Use key 23985-12 (MCS 517945). Use JIMS nut 24023-36 (MCS 978258) for the flywheel side and JIMS nut 24023-54 (MCS 978263) for the sprocket side. Includes oil end plug. Side lubrication. Replaces 24006-54A.
Technical tip: The 58-81 B. T. pinion shaft assemblies are also compatible with 54-57 B. T. when the stock pressed-in bearing bushing is removed and the cast bearing retainer is machined out to accept the larger 58-81 pressed-in bearing bushing (OEM 24599-58B / MCS 518110).
