JIMS, Powerglide tappet block and tappet kit. Chrome

This kit includes a 3/8" lower bracket for the pushrods, reducing the angle between the pushrod and the tappet. Includes a set of two chrome-plated 7075-T651 CNC machined aluminium tappet blocks and a set of 4 large axle tappets for Powerglide. The tappets are JIMS Powerglide, extra wide design with a .761" outer diameter. Therefore, the OEM Powerglide tappets of .731" diameter for stock Shovelhead are not interchangeable.
Note: 53-E76 Pan & Shovel models will require a tappet guide bolt conversion kit, such as 502990 Allen / 989173 cap style / 513555 acorn, with the correct thread for the 53-E76 crankcases, so that the bolt head fits the flat L76-84 design of these JIMS tappet guides.
