JIMS, tappet block and Powerglide tappet kit. Polished

This kit includes a 3/8" lower seat for the pushrods, reducing the angle between the pushrod and the tappet. It includes a set of two polished 7075-T651 alloy tappet blocks and a set of 4 large-diameter large axle tappets for Powerglide. The tappets are the special JIMS Powerglide tappets with an extra-wide .761" outside diameter. Therefore, the .731" diameter OEM Shovel Powerglide tappets are not interchangeable.
Note: 53-E76 Pan & Shovel models will require a tappet guide bolt conversion kit, such as the 502990 Allen type / 989173 cap type / 513555 acorn type, that is correctly threaded for the 53-E76 crankcases, so that the bolt head fits the L76-84 flat design of these JIMS tappet guides.
