The high-quality gear and shaft transmission set features 1994-2006 style low-noise gears made of 20CrMnT High Stress gear steel. The gears and shafts are hardened and stress-relieved with a core hardness of 35 to 45 Rockwell and a surface hardness of 58 to 60 Rockwell. All gears are lapped after hardening to obtain a smooth tooth surface that guarantees quiet and trouble-free transmission for many, many miles. The kit contains all gears, gear needle bearings, gear thrust washers, gear retaining rings, trap door side nuts, main shaft and countershaft.
