KB Performance, Shovel 1340cc pop-up piston kit. +.030"

High compression pop-up piston set. 9.5:1 compression ratio. Piston weight 388 g. Piston pin weight 97 g.
Head type: Dome / Dome -47 cc.
Compression height 1.285" / Diameter 3.4980".
Carrera 4.250".
Rod length 7.440" / Cylinder length 5.330".
Includes T7 heat-treated hardened hypereutectic cast pistons with 16% silicon, allowing a very tight clearance for greater durability and virtually zero piston noise.
Note: The top compression ring will require additional clearance. See instructions.
Note: Around 30% of original 1340 cc Shovel cylinders may present problems in combination with the location of some of the oil return holes, as KB pistons have a wider ring set for better piston stability in the cylinder. In these cases, the oil return hole must be relocated (lower) to avoid excessive oil consumption.
