S&S billet oil pump kit for Big Twin 1936-1999

S&S 1981-1999 style oil pumps are CNC machined to meet strict manufacturing tolerances, and are polished to a mirror finish. S&S oil pumps return scavenged oil to the pump inlet instead of returning it to the tank, to prevent unnecessary leaks, and offer the possibility of adapting earlier engines to the post-1981 lubrication system. This lubrication system separates the heads from the bottom end, increasing pressure to the hydraulic lifters and to the heads. Another simple modification improves primary chain lubrication on 1965-1972 models. The pump cover is compatible with both standard steel oil lines and conventional neoprene piping, to ensure simple, professional installation. S&S oil pumps come complete, with all internal components installed, gaskets, pump shaft with keys and clip, mounting fasteners, anti-return ball and overload plunger. For those who need everything 100%, a complete kit with drive pinion, breather and shims is available. 

Note: These S&S oil pumps feature an optional connection point, for maximum flexibility, at the oil inlet point, for late-model Dyna and FL models that have the oil tank below the gearbox. These models must use the stock hose position to prevent air entering the pump, which could occur if the top position is used. No S&S Billet oil pump is provided with a lubricator for the secondary chain. The Billet pumps for 1936-1976 Big Twin are equipped with a screw to regulate primary chain lubrication. The ZPN 750604 pump assembly is, like all pumps, supplied with all S&S Evolution-style V-series engines and features a universal cover with both top and bottom inlets.
