These kits upgrade the spring-loaded cam chain tensioners on Twin Cam engines in Touring 1999-2006, Dyna 1999-2005 and Softail 2000-2006 models to the hydraulic design introduced on the 2006 Dyna. The kits for 1999-2001 models with the original cam position sensor function use the original front silent chain and sprocket. Use the kit for 2002-2006 models when you have upgraded to a high-performance ignition that does not use the cam position sensor. The kits for Softail 2002-2006, Touring 2002-2006 and Dyna 2002-2005 include a single-row front roller chain and sprocket. The kits come complete with S&S billet aluminium cam plate, S&S hydraulic cam chain tensioners and your choice of Zodiac TPD "Super Pump" or S&S TC3 oil pump, which reduces bearing operating temperature to improve bearing life. Note:  Proper installation requires the separate purchase of additional model-specific items listed below.
