Mikuni HSR45 smoothbore carburettor kit

Mikuni has redesigned the popular HSR42 Performance carburettor and upgraded it with a 45 mm venturi to accommodate long-stroke, high-performance Big Twin engines. The HSR45 carburettor has the same proven quality features as the HSR42 with just a larger venturi for greater airflow, which is necessary for highly modified engines. It is definitely the best carburettor available today if you want no restriction whatsoever in incoming airflow for a maximum air-fuel mixture. The kit comes with carburettor, jet kit, K&N air filter, and chrome air filter cover. Works with the original throttle cables as used on models from 1996 onwards. Available for 1984-1999 Big Twin Evolution with or without manifold and 1999-2017 Twin Cam with manifold. For custom applications the carburettor is also available separately. 
 
 Note: Models from 1993 require the ZPN 232234 crankcase ventilation kit. Models 1984-1989 also require the throttle and kill switch cables from the 1990-1995 Big Twin style.
 
 Throttle and idle cables for use with Mikuni HSR42 and HSR45 carburettors; the older styles of HSR42 and HSR45 carburettors have the wheel cable on the left of the carburettor and use the cables as in the table below. The newer styles of HSR42 and HSR45 carburettors have the wheel cable on the right of the carburettor and use the standard cable from 1990 OEM used on Big Twin. Most cables are available in black vinyl or braided steel.
