Our recommendation: Replacing a 50cc cylinder is worthwhile from 10,000 km onwards. The result is a more powerful engine with lower fuel consumption and better cold starting. The piston gudgeon pin bearing must be changed at the same time! Gudgeon pin bearings are available separately. A good 2-stroke oil significantly extends the life of the cylinder.
