551 Easy Start cam kit

Facilitates starting by initially reducing compression; once the engine starts and rpm rise, the decompression cam retracts by centrifugal force and the engine runs normally, with full compression and no loss of performance.
Optimised for 88"/96"/103" Touring motorcycles up to 106" with slip-on exhausts and compression ratios from 9.0:1 to 9.0:9 with original start
Direct fit for original or slightly modified Touring models
Significantly improves low and mid-range torque
Maximum power from idle to 4000 rpm
Includes camshafts, gear cover gasket, bearings, retaining ring, O-ring, threadlocker and instructions.
Manufactured in the USA
Not recommended for compression ratios of 10.0:1 or higher.
The installer must check the spring lock, valve clearance, and valve-to-piston clearance.
Not suitable for models with OEM decompressors.
Compatible with original pushrods, tappets and springs (unless stated otherwise).
