Retro style swingarm kit for Touring - pivot shaft adjustment

Now you can upgrade from the old box-style swingarm with its Cleve block bushes to the reinforced one with spherical bearings, as used on Touring 2002-2008. Installation would normally require drilling the transmission swingarm bracket from 5/8" to 3/4" diameter. To make life easier, this kit includes special spherical bearings with a 5/8" internal diameter and bushes that require no drilling of the transmission case. Of course, you can reuse your common pivot shaft, but a kit including the pivot is also available. Installing one of these retrofit kits requires the use of a Touring 2002-2008 style swingarm, a rear brake caliper, a 1" rear wheel axle and 1" internal diameter rear wheel bearings for a 2002-2007 swingarm, or a 25mm axle and bearings for a 2008 swingarm. It is strongly recommended that the old rubber mounting isolators OEM 47564-86B are replaced with our isolators ZPN 032566 when installing one of these kits. For Touring 1980-2001.
