Reverse kits for Big Twin

Reverse gear is great for trikes and sidecars, but it can also be used on ordinary 2-wheel motorcycles. This reverse gear kit is very complete and easy to install, and is manufactured entirely in the Netherlands. It features a CNC-machined steel lever and an aluminium housing with hardened gears. The complete unit is only 20mm (.790") thick and mounts between the transmission trapdoor and the clutch control cover. It has a manual operating lever to put the bike into reverse. Simply pull in the clutch lever when the bike is in neutral and engage reverse with the aluminium hand lever. The included relay and switch activate the neutral light, and you can now ride the bike backwards, using the clutch and throttle just as you would riding forwards. Installation does not affect any of the forward gears. The kit includes everything you need, including instructions, gaskets and fasteners. Available for most Big Twin and Twin Cam Touring 1990 and later with stock heads.

Note: Reverse kits are designed for use on Touring models. Installation on most Softail and Dyna models requires the purchase of an aftermarket exhaust system with adequate clearance for the rear header.
