S&S 883 TO 1200 conversion piston kits - 3 1/2"

An economical way to get more from your Sportster 883. Use these forged pistons to convert an 883cc engine to 1200cc. Remove the original 883cc cylinders to fit 3 1/2" bore ones, or use 1200cc cylinders. The pistons feature coated skirts to reduce friction during the initial break-in. They also have a dome, so no combustion chamber modifications are needed. Nor is it necessary to rebalance your crankshaft. Sold in sets of 2 pistons with complete Moly piston rings, retaining rings and piston pins. For XL 883 1986-2022 and they give a compression ratio of 9.4:1.
Note: Cylinders on models from 2009 onwards cannot be bored to accept these 3 1/2" pistons. You will need to order a complete S&S cylinder and piston kit, or 2 new original XL 1200 2004-2008 cylinders, or a pair of 3 1/2" S&S cylinders separately.
