In the mid-80s the 11mm belt kit with a 31-tooth engine pulley and 47-tooth clutch pulley was introduced. The larger tooth profile is preferred by many users. The aluminium primary belt fitment kits include a BDL tensioner that ensures the belt is correctly tensioned; the tin primary models use the correct transmission tension adjustment.
